Project Bastion: Jump location suggestions!
🕑 Added 2023-10-23 21:09:52 +0000 UTCThis is a post I will frequently link to as a place for suggestion for places Aiden might be sent. Please read and make note of my requirements and suggestions!
- The location must be relatively well known. Your favorite obscure once season long harem anime is not going to make the cut. Anime/Manga in general is unlikely to be chosen, and those I would consider including are already on my list.
- Including one or two mission ideas will drastically increase the likely hood of your suggestion being added to the list of possible mission locations.
- Mission ideas need to have story potential. Getting someone to take a left instead of a right could drastically change the story, but its also boring.
- Missions need to be possible and locations need to be reasonable. This is especially important early in the story as Aiden is still weak.
- Please read through other peoples suggestions. If someone suggests your location but doesn't suggest the same mission idea, then reply to their suggestion with your own. Aiden will eventually jump to different versions of the same location, as well as jump to realities he has already been to.

The marvel/MCU and star wars are big ones on the list, but thank you for the ideas! As for the transfer of soul and other meta physics, I considered letting things like Aura, or even things like Haki in, but decided I would rather Aiden have complete protection from eldritch threats and real meta stuff, so there is no transfer of anything beyond memory, and even then then the metaphysics dont mix.

fair enough. I figured the Carrie one would be a decent enough 'easy mission' for the early-game of the story, since it would just entail dismantling the prank before the poor girl gets covered in pig blood and goes apeshit. But if you don't know the story well enough then that's that. I did have another three ideas, tho they are probably missions that wouldn't be possible for Aiden to accomplish for a while yet time: Warhammer 40k: -Prevent the infant 12th primarch (Angron) from being captured by Slavers on Nuceria Star Wars: -Rescue Shmi Skywalker from the Sand People tribe that captured her before she dies of dehydration Captain America: The First Avenger (MCU): -Prevent the Hydra Agent from assassinating Dr. Abraham Erskine, the creator of the Super Soldier Serum I also had a question. Aiden can't bring items or equipment back from his missions, or physical upgrades like gene-enhancements or cybernetics, but what about things that interact with his body/soul metaphysically, like Aura from RWBY or various types of Magic? Would those be able to follow his projected spirit back to his world, or do the metaphysics of his home reality not support such things?

I really like the Jurassic Park idea, definitely adding it to the list! the other three are possibilities, but I'd have to familiarize/re-familiarize myself with their stories and that's kind of a last resort tbh.

Damn, right off the bat two great ideas. Can't believe I didn't think of Eragon, and SG-1 and Atlantis were on my list of locations but I hadn't put any thought into their missions yet. Nice!

Love the story so far - I have two possible worlds for you - obviously if you haven’t read/seen them, dont worry Eragon - prevent Brom’s death and/or prevent murtagh’s capture - should have plenty of interesting potential for you to play around with. Stargate SG-1 - save Daniel’s Wife/ kill apophis early
