Rise of the Battlemage - What kind of ship will they buy?
🕑 Added 2023-03-23 03:46:34 +0000 UTCWhile I have a few ideas of my own, I would love to hear suggestions from you. In a few days I will collate a list of suggestions and my own ideas and put together an official poll for people to vote on. Some suggestions to make this easier:
- The more info about the ship that exists the better. Layouts are the holy grail.
- I will accept out of universe designs, but only reasonable suggestions. This would essentially be flavor text that I would wrap around a similar ship from the Star Wars universe. Suggesting what ship I would use earns solid bonus points.
- Be realistic, both for the price and the crew size. They wont be able to afford a CR90, nor could they actually fly one.
- Keep in mind older ships are a double edged sword. They are out of date, but they would also be cheaper, unless it turns into a classic car/antique scenario.
- The prices and info on Wookiepedia is a good place to start, but careful of the numbers. The info on there comes from all over the place and doesn't always line up. There is no way a new X-Wing cost 50,000 credits more than a brand new YT-1300.
- Try and avoid repeats
This is open to all patrons, but the final vote will be for board members. I might even open this to the public eventually.

While I love the design of the Ebon Hawk, and the fact that there is tons of information and visuals of the ship, Kotor happened 4000 years ago. That said, a lot of people have asked for it and similar ships. I'm considering it, but dont hold your breath >_<

the kotor time lines took place 4000 years ago, im not sure it makes sense to find a ship from that period in still functioning condition. I'm not saying no, because your the second person to suggest that, but I'm just hesitant to use that amount of handwavium to get it to work

Could go for one of the class ships in The Old Republic mmo, at this point they would be pretty old and seeing as how several missions take place in Nar Shadaa it's likely there would be one lying around hidden. Maybe even the Sith Fury Interceptor just to rub it in ole Palpy's nse :P

the Ebon Hawk is pretty good too estimated at 154,000 credits 7 modified systems 4 armaments 1 pilot 1 co-pilot 4 maximum gunners that fits 8 passengers its just that this ship is from the old republic era if I'm reading it right since Revan at one point had ownership of a Ebon Hawk in his time

So if you want to continue the story and add more to your mercenary group this would only be an initial step. I just threw this out their because I liked the look. I couldn't find any floor layouts. It is small enough however that I thought you could get creative and just magic up one.
