Update & The Fresh Future! ♥
🕑 Added 2017-09-29 10:29:59 +0000 UTC Update time! - As most of you know PP34 started out as reskins of various flash animations with occasional comics and other art. I would always make sure to credit the artist and post a link to the source art if it was a reskin, and occasionally this even lead to artists messaging me about collaborating or commenting that they didn't mind this. However, recently one of the posts on this page received a take-down notice, and rightfully so! Not only did I forget to link to the artists work, but until that moment I hadn't thought about how it could upset someone to see their art drawn around or animated like this. I removed the animation immediately and wholeheartedly apologised to the upset artist. They were very kind and understanding about everything, and as the conversation went on they simply asked me "Why not just make more original art?" The only answer I could give was the truth - I just wasn't that confident in my own artwork up until now. He wished me the best in my future art & animations, offered me advice on improving, and told me he understood my mistake and where it came from and looked forward to more original content in the future. And for this I couldn't be more appreciative. ♥ I had realised my mistake, apologised, and we are on good terms. ♥So what now? - The Fresh Future! ♥
100% original artwork and animation. Forever. Every future post on this page will be all hand-drawn and animated by me, and me only. No reskins. My page has been updated to reflect this. Many of my posts have been 100% original (Just like the Paya animation! ♥), but this will permanently be the case from now on. I don't want to upset anyone, nobody deserves to feel upset. ♥ This is a respectful promise to you as my patrons, and to myself. You deserve better. Please offer me your forgiveness for letting you down. I am genuinely sorry for my mistake. It won't happen again.
So here's to a better the future of PeachyPop34 and us, as I have turned over a new leaf. I have learned a lot from this experience.
♥ You can look forward to more Jess animations, polls/poll results winners soon, as well as a freebie as soon as possible. ♥ :)
Please do not post abusive comments. It took a lot for me to talk about this. ♥
Thank you for your support! ♥ Peace!
~Jess

This was a very measured and mature response you made here Jess. I'm impressed that you took the time to think this over seriously and write out a very heartfelt post, and it's great to hear that the situation with the other artist was resolved amicably. Most of all, I hope this experience has helped you gain confidence in your own style, and I am especially eager to see what the future holds for you as well!

It may be hard to put that sort of thing out there but taking responsibility will definitely do you more good in the long run. Don't be discouraged about this whole situation. Sure, you may get hate from some people but remember that you still have supporters that won't give up on you that easily. Also it's completely normal to not have confidence in your own work! It's just a sign that you feel like you can be doing better. Keep at it and you'll eventually feel good about your own creations too! Best of luck in the future, Jess

It's moments like these that make me sad there's no option to pledge MORE money. I'm glad things worked out and I'm proud you had the courage to come out about all of this. I've always enjoyed your original works, and can't wait to see where you go from here. I'll always have your back. :D

I can't wait for it!!

I think you handled that in a very mature fashion and I think you should be proud of yourself. Takes guts! I look forward to more great work from you!

Whatever road you decide to take ill follow with what support I can offer as a fan, have more faith in your own abilities as an artist, J, and i'm excited to see what the future will bring with this new development.

Everyone makes misstakes, thats what makes us human. As much as i like both of your swaps/reskins and your original work (especially the PeachyPop34 tentacle animation) I respect your desicion for future art. Im still happy to be a patreon of a skilled artist like yee-self!
PeachyPop34
Not at all! As I said he was really kind and helpful about the situation.

TBF that guy was a bit of a cunt. A simple and genuine mistake. But there are cunts in the world...

It takes a lot to own up, it take more to charge on and I am hyped to see you charge on. You have come so far from starting out with swaps and your original stuff has been awesome. You are a great Artist and solid animator. As always looking forward to what you put up next!
Snake
Your original stuff has always been my favorite anyway. You should have more confidence in your ability, as its actually up with some of the best in quality. :P
Takes a lot to admit one is in the wrong but you did. Proud of ya jess, like the way you want to move forward as well.
the guys over at swfchan are gonna have a field day with this. I'm glad to hear you're turning over a new leaf, although I always thought the reskins and adding animation brought a trans-formative expression to it and didn't mind it, I'm sure everyone else will be very happy with this, good luck in the future <3
PeachyPop34
Thank you. That means a lot. ♥
