As you know, I'm currently working through edits on Book 5 which is why there's reduced Chapters this week. I'm also going to be heading off to LitRPG Con on Wednesday/Thursday of this week and will be back next Monday. If I can squeeze in a few chapters in the next few days, between edits, I'll be posting them next Monday. If I can't do it, I'll let you guys know in an update. Sorry about this, once we have LitRPG Con out of the way, and then DragonCon at the end of August, I'll be clear sailing with the story without interruptions.
Big thank you to everyone finding inconsistencies. There's been some relating to materials like Storm Steel, and others talking about the Jackal build process. I've been taking notes of all the little changes I need to make, so I really appreciate you highlighting them. Also, really loving the positive sentiment with the chapters, so thank you for that!
Just something to note on these chapters, in number 11 there is a full blank page before the Appraisal sheet. Yes, the sheet is in here for the Mythical Void Reaper (Slinky)
I was a little surprised at how attached you all got to Slinky. You're all clearly on Upgrade's side, and Sal will remember that.
Hope you enjoy these chapters, and you'll see some inspiration I've had from mobile games somewhere in between. Gotta dream big that Quest Academy might someday have a card game, so these are the first steps in making something fun within the world.
Anyways, until next week! I'll try not to die in Denver. No promises though.

I’m a bit behind the latest chapters and maybe this is a spoiler question but does Sal ever start actually creating stuff for himself? I mean yes he has jackal and arsenal but so does upgrade. And I loveeeee upgrade but does Sal ever end up with anything special/unique or does he outfit everyone with mythical stuff too?

Sal is tired, but what kind of hunker was trying to ambush at the demo incursion? That could have been a normal hunker that he may have forgotten about. Obsidian- tower; quartz and poison- dungeons testing new armor and showing tackle.

One thing I am really missing from book 4 is the creation of new materials using Arkwright. It is not Arkwright itself, but the materials like blightstone being generated. I am all for a big version of the Arkwright using spider components!
