So, first of all, I'd like to thank you all for your patience with me. I had a wonderful break in Santorini for Sakura's wedding, it was magical. I played 120 hours of Dune Awakening and have zero regrets.
I also wrote three chapters and realised yesterday that I hated them. They were pulling the new book in a direction that felt contrived and crap, so I went with a different angle that I enjoy a lot more.
For all the new people here - Hello!
I tend to start slowly with new chapters as I find my path in the story. It will probably feel janky and off to start, because you're used to reading full books. Just bear with me as we go on this journey and hopefully it won't be a load of shit at the end :)
Thank you all so much for the support and votes of confidence. Book 4 has something like 2,200 ratings / reviews and I couldn't be happier. Book 5 is up for pre-order which is wild, and we're officially starting Book 6.

Hey brother I found a spelling error in chapter 2. You accidentally refer to Barry as a she. lol. “You know, you're not going to be able to use her as a threat forever. She'll warm up to me eventually." She let out an exasperated sigh. "Ah, who am I kidding? Let's get started...” is the paragraph

I just finished rereading legions and the chapters where he is fighting helping people and dealing with the aftermath is by far my favorite few chapters of all the books. It’s exactly what he should be. He acted the way I would hope all good people would.

I've been re-reading the series, again, and I'm looking forward to even more. However, I just can't get behind the whole Erika redemption arc. I honestly don't care for her character at all, there's pretty much nothing likable about her. Oh well, I hope Sal doesn't let her in the guild, even if she does change. Rant over.

What I did was go to posts, then filtered so the ones with text files show up. There are 3 that won’t show unless you look using pictures for filter. Even if you do not do it that way they are not too far down the list to find them.

I agree. I remember what Quest said to Sal about how Erika had lived with being bombarded with everyone's thoughts. Its no wonder that she became insular and defensive. Her agressive behaviour became a shield to protect her sanity. She can bring a lot to the Mythic guild as an offense with Sal's help.
