Week 32 - FIREBALL.
🕑 Added 2018-08-13 13:47:42 +0000 UTC Last week we got not one but two videos out! Look at me go. All just in time for the weekend where I streamed Ludum Dare 42 and it was a HOOT!
It's a local multiplayer (only, sadly) game about breaking the ground underneath one another (Minecraft Spleef! With Fireballs!).
The game - and source code! - are available here.
The full VOD of the livestream is also up in two parts!
People have naturally been asking, as always, whether videos might come on how I implemented thing X, Y or Z in this game. If there's stuff you'd like to see, let me know! The basics of Isometric stuff I think I almost have enough of a handle on to cover.
That said, we're still on the Platformer wagon until it hits its last stop. So that's where I'm at this week. There will also be an LD timelapse at some point. I never managed one for LD41, it's been a while!
Nothing much today though. Today I'm largely on break. <3
