[Early access] Final Platformer Episode!
🕑 Added 2018-09-14 18:18:04 +0000 UTC Source code: https://shaunjs.itch.io/shauns-complete-platformer-tutorial-seriesThis part handles 3 small tweaks that I managed to cram into one feature-packed episode. We improve the hit sparks, make the signpost input & feedback better and also add strafing!
Each individually a small thing, but each one adding quite a lot to the final product.
People have asked about seeing games made from this series and my work in general. That sounds like a great way to wrap up this series so look for more info on something like that coming soon. As such, I have some plans for next week's video already but a Poll will be launching next Monday along with the weekly update so look out for that if you're a $5+ supporter.
Now nothing is ever really set in stone. I don't right now (for reasons I spoke of before) see myself continuing this with a second season, but I am open to bonus episodes if there's something we discover is really missing. I am however, very happy with this series. I think it teaches a lot of stuff over the course of 27 mad episodes and it should provide a foundation from which you can launch off into your own projects and ideas.
More from me next Monday!

Hey Shaun, can you update the Assets for this? The current file is missing the final assets (new spark, strafe, etc). I'm no artist and rely on the plug in art.
Ps: one tutorial tip could be how to make 3d arrays.
