NGF Week + PokeyPoke demo for $5/$20 backers
🕑 Added 2018-06-01 21:17:23 +0000 UTC After a bunch of inevitable train issues I'm on the way home from Norwich Gaming Festival!I got to show off PokeyPoke live to tons of people, kids and adults. Learned so much in the process and it really helped shape the future direction of the game. I also got to meet a ton of developers old & new, delivered an ace couple of GameMaker workshops for kids where I built games live in just an hour and a half (based on audience suggestions!) and just had a downright blast.
Tomorrow, weekend though it may be, keep an eye on your email if you're a $5 or $20 backer. I'm going to send you all the demo version of PokeyPoke that I've been showing off at the festival. I'd love to let you in on the source code too but it's got other people's commercial work in it now as dependencies which puts that off the table. But if there's something specific from the code that you would like to see, let me know and I'll see what I can do!
I'll talk some more about NGF, playtesting and PokeyPoke in the near future, but I'm about to fall asleep on this train.
Only one week left till we're back to regular programming. Thanks again for your patience!
