Great tutorial man. I will definitely be looking into adding this into my platformer I have been developing. One problem I noticed though (unless I made a mistake when following along with the tutorial) is that if you exit the ladder without jumping and then are back in the normal state if you press down again it will teleport you back to the ladder in the ladder state.
