0.41 is coming soon
🕑 Added 2023-06-06 13:02:17 +0000 UTCVersion 0.41 is almost finished, it will contain the 7th mission, a mana system for heroic powers, new dialogue between Chloe and '???' and lots of QoL changes.
My deadline for updates will be the 15th and last day of each month, but it should probably be ready a bit sooner. All that's left is to finish the end scene for the 7th mission and the illustrations that go with it, and to fix the bugs linked to the interface changes.
When version 0.41 is released for the patrons, version 0.40 will be available for everyone.
Patchnote 0.41 :
Content :
-Mission 7 complete
-A new scene with brigite, with a variation depending on how you completed the last missions.
-New dialogues between Chloe and '???' in missions 4 & 5.
-Mana system, some characters will now generate mana each turn to use their skills.
Balance, QoL and fixes:
-Fionne's stats have been increased
-The black bars around the map are gone! I can now display an image behind the map, the result isn't as professional as I'd like, I've just put a placeholder image behind it for now, but it's an important step.
-Added some UI to display gold/mana.
-Named a few nameless terrain
-Removed the display of the dodge bonus on tiles (which was always 0 anyway)
-Changed the order in which commands are displayed, attack will always be at the top when possible and 'wait' will always be at the bottom.
-Fixed the rounding of values for HP/dmg/param.
From now on, patrons will have access to a walkthrough to find out how to unlock the various path/scenes.
Saves will also be available up to the last available chapter for the different paths, although I wouldn't recommend using them unless you've already done the content.
Savegames from version 0.40 may not be perfectly compatible (balancing changes are not taken into account). But I'll do my best to ensure that versions after 0.41 can use the old saves.
