Shadow over meridia 0.32
🕑 Added 2023-05-18 13:27:14 +0000 UTCVersion 0.32 of shadow over meridia is out, on the menu we have a new mission ending with a hot scene and new illustrations to accompany it.
A new unit, the archer.
An overhaul of the property capture system.
changelog :
Content :
-Mission 5 is now completed
-1 new illustration for Fionne and 1 for another character.
-New unit, the archer, can attack from a distance, inflicts high damage even on armoured targets, but cannot move and fire in the same turn.
Major changes :
-Redesign of the capture system, properties have 20HP, to capture them you have to use infantry units that can reduce the health of the target buildings each turn according to their own health.
-Some of the illustrations, especially the faces have been changed to better fit the interface, it's not perfect yet but we are getting closer to a satisfactory result
other changes :
-bugfixes
-Minor changes in the previous missions
Planned for future update :
The next update should contain a new mission, and an illutrated scene.
The introduction of the following character: Brigite who leads the rebellion.
The appearance of heroic powers.
Other gameplay changes I intend to do when I can:
-simplify the interface by hiding the last decimal place for most parameters.
-Allow units to heal themselves by ending a turn on an allied building.
-WorldMap allowing you to navigate between levels.
This update took me longer than expected because it required more SRPG tinkering than I expected and because it's the biggest one yet. However I also got a bit ahead of the next one so I should still be able to finish the next one by the end of the month as originally planned.
