Hybrid heaven woot! I was blown away by that game (I was maybe 13) rent it with a friend, the thing I remember about combat was a bit stupid, the more you hit with a leg/arm the more your leg/arm would level up, so my combo was always right kick (x6) which looked stupid... I even taped cutscenes on my VHS!
