story in racing games is ok.. btw, i really liked the story on Forza Horizon 1.. you can feel the journey, with great music, best atmosphere and wonderful festival.. how i missed Forza Horizon 1, FH nowadays can't replicate what FH1 done..
Would have been nice if the game explained that in some way. Three extremely experienced players never figured it out. That's bad.

When u hit triangle u can restart races in Crew 2. I did agree with your guys thoughts though. I already deleted the Beta. I think u hit triangle or y and then hold down x or a until it resets the race.

Preach it Shane, I only follow a few limited games industry professionals (protip: you're one of them) because I've seen the quality of reporting go downhill for the last decade. Glad the situation with CDPR calmed down and you're still on good terms with them. Keep up the good work
Crew 2 has an instant popup menu when you press Y/Triangle that lets you restart races immediately. This game has flawed controls and the cutscenes are awful, I don't even know why devs keep trying to force a story into racing games. Other elements are outstanding to me. There is a lot of variation in the races and events. The map is huge and has a lot of different terrain and areas suited for racing. The visuals are top notch and I am still in disbelief how quick fast travel is in this game. I play it on the One X and no matter where you travel, 2 seconds later you are ready to go.
