The low buzz of the phone line was evoking vintage tube amp vibes, and made for great background noise, while the cute kissy ghost in the machine guided us to Slumberland. Menach is good at every fidelity. Thanks for breaking out the old phone mics again. They’re a great foil to the excellent new mics, where instead of being clean, wide and revealing, they’re obscuring, narrow and intimate. You’ve got a tool for every mood.
