Patreon Tier Updates
🕑 Added 2022-10-03 06:45:31 +0000 UTCWe did a poll last month to gauge the value of our Patreon reward, and we used that to influence our new and improved tier rewards.
We'll be changing the rewards at the end of this month. There is no need for panic. We're mostly adding to the rewards.
With the Steam release finally out, we'll start to focus on more Patreon-exclusive in-game content and scenes available to all tiers. The Patreon-exclusive content will be a mixture of extra cutesy scenes between the Mah'Abeu and their chosen crew member, some additional adult content and scenes that give more background and insight into the world of Infinite Stars.
Another significant change is bumping the "Name in the Game" reward from Commander to Captain. This will take effect end of the month. (We won't be removing any names from the credits, but after the changes are implemented, only the names of Captain's and upward will be added to the game. This decision is purely a practical one in an attempt to keep the list of names manageable.)
Another cool benefit we're pretty excited about is custom Mah'Abeu portraits that will be added to the game. While we'll slowly build a collection for all players to choose from, Captains will be able to commission one of our artists for their portrait that will be distributed with the game! <3 (These portraits will go into your character bio screen, where your personality stats are tracked.)
The Admiral tier will remain mostly unchanged, still giving supporters the ability to "sponsor" new character poses or outfits of their liking to the game. They can also decide if they would rather have a short scene commissioned that will be added to the game. Keep in mind that the idea needs to be approved by us to ensure everything is in line with the vision and atmosphere of the game.
Lastly, I am considering adding a limited number of "Investor or Architect" tier slots for players with some additional disposable income that they want to contribute to the game's development.
As I mentioned before, we're trying to add value and not diminish the value of any of the tiers. I don't foresee any unhappiness, but if I missed something, then please reach out so I can fix it.

Just a clarification on the "Name in the Game." - While it is technically accurate, it's meant to read your name in the Credits. <3 (Just thought of it this morning, and I don't want to mislead anyone)
