House experiment: Success
🕑 Added 2022-12-12 10:18:59 +0000 UTCSpending 4 days on that house saved me hours or planning for the 5 backgrounds I made yesterday. Here's a sneak peek. All the extra stuff was drawn on Clip Studio Paint, this isn't an add-on or a toon shader to make the lines, I just spent an hour on each background to make it better and I'm happy with the result!
Adding shading is always fun, it's just the planning process of backgrounds that isn't, so now, I don't have to worry about the item placement and such! Yeh!

Yeah, that does seem like it'd save a lot of time. I reckon that's important when you're a one-person animation team. Glad you're not torturing yourself anymore than you need to! :P

This is a background from the current clip I'm working on. This is the same shading process as before except that instead of drawing the flat objects first, I can just use this fully modeled house I made. This made the entire thing so much faster and I didn't go through the "Why am I torturing myself like this?" phase. :P

Are you going to use this as a background, or as a drawing reference?

"yo dawg, I know you love hammers so I added hammers to your hammers so you can slam while you slam"

MTV Crib starring Adeleine and the Funky Bunch

I could imagine Adeleine in front of a camera proudly showing off to the King her brand new abode, so cute

Only for backgrounds, that way, instead of drawing every furniture from different angles everytime, I can just place the camera in Blender in the exact spot I want the characters to be. The animating process will remain the same on Flash!

Yeah! I'm happy I've found out how to make backgrounds fun now because I love showing more of her house in episodes

I imagine you plan on using this as an aid in animating

Ohh the place already feels so comfy looking
