🕑 Added 2022-11-19 09:43:06 +0000 UTC11/12 was my birthday. I am a male, 32 year old painter!
My social anxiety has shrunk and its reality has become apparent.
I want a partner. I don't have that confidence.
That's all.
Lately I have been thinking about dating like an obsession.
It is a common and healthy concern. It was surprising to me though.
I am not depressed.
I know what I need to do because I know what I need to do.
I just wanted to confide in you this embarrassing true feeling.
I want to marry a nice woman. I want to raise children.
There is something there.
Please cheer for me.

Warning from another English user: avoid the phrase "involuntary celibate", it has strong and ugly connotations since it is the origin of the word "incel". Describing yourself with it will make it much less likely nice people - men or women - will want to trust you. Aside of that, congratulations on victory over your social anxiety.
