Happy holidays and new year to everyone! Hope you're all well and have a great 2025! I've been off from my 9 to 5 for a bit, but head back soon and am not looking forward to it. RuinWorks is definitely what I'd rather work on :P
It seems every Christmas I end up getting sick, and this year has been no exception. I can't get rid of this insufferable cold/cough. Just as I think i'm out, it drags me back in! So apologies if I'm not always super clear in the video. I did my best to edit out all the.... noises.
This release sees updates to the Weary Wyvern and Nobleman's Manor scenes. The Nobleman's manor got a winter variation as well as some dead guards. Each are both toggleable via quick buttons. Winter affects all 4 above ground elevations.
The Weary Wyvern was release 1 in December, but got some upgrades with release II. It too gets a winter variation, which I think adds a completely new dimension to the scene. Additionally, it received a ton of other optionality - horses, patrons and 8 more room variations! This is on top of the rooms, yard areas and wall breaks that were already customizable. Pretty proud with how it turned out. I think the scene can offer a lot - from somewhere to pick up adventure hooks, to an NPC hideout, to a great place for combat!
Hope you all enjoy it!
