November 2024 Release II: Warlord's Tomb
🕑 Added 2024-12-01 05:38:26 +0000 UTCHi Everyone!
End of November means another release and this time it's the Warlord's Tomb. Quite happy with how this one turned out and enjoyed working on it.
Release video: https://youtu.be/-y1zPoK8uu0?si=BPzeu8Sv356KM7tb
It features a tomb nestled within the walls of a river canyon. A bridge spans the rushing river, crumbling at the supports with moss creeping between the worn stone blocks. Winding down the canyon walls, a rough stone stairway clings to the cliffs. Reckless adventurers risk a fall into the depths of the cold water pulsing below.
The scene is five levels; riverbed, canyon bottom, bridge level, stair level and canyon top. Foundry users will enjoy traps on the bridge and stairs, which will plunge unwary PCs into the river below, perhaps even whisking them away downstream. Inside the tomb, the entrance doors are protected by a spear trap which will fire when any of the three pressure plates are depressed.
Beyond the spear trap, large stone doors withdraw into the walls on click and lead into the main tomb where the now-skeletal Warlord still sits a throne. Each skeleton can be removed simply via double-click.
Looks like the Patreon poll resulted in the Weary Wyvern as our next scene. I'm a little worried it will be a large scene and take quite some time. If it does drag on a bit too long, I'll do variants/add options to existing maps. So let me know what you'd like to see added to your favorite RuinWorks maps and I'll try to accommodate! Comment below or send me a message on patreon or discord :)
Hope you like it!
