April 2024 Release 1: Boss Room - Lava King's Rest
🕑 Added 2024-04-23 00:18:35 +0000 UTCHi Guys!
Another busy month on my end. Went away for the first week of the month, it's been my wife's birthday month (yes.... month... it's a long story) and work has been picking up.

This is another scene in the Boss Room series - Lava King's Rest. The scene features 2 levels, depicting a large cavern wreathed with lava channels. Meant as the final resting place of some fire lord, it is the perfect place for a final boss battle - be it in a volcano or deep underground.
In Foundry you have the ability to sink parts of the floor into the lava, this makes for a dynamic battleground. Also, Pillars in the scene are breakable - have them collapse to provide bridges over the lava channels or to block or damage your PCs. Sounds, lights and images change with each. Maybe the final boss causes an earth quake shuddering the cavern to near collapse or the force of their blows splinters the pillars and causes the floor to sink!
This scene provides a variety of ways to challenge your PCs and have a different sort of encounter, where the terrain plays a role :) The second level provides various options to meet your needs. Choose from: Empty, Altar, Deepest Forge, Lava King's Tomb, or the Throne variations.
Hope you like it!
