May Release 1: Into the Stretching Sands
🕑 Added 2023-05-19 02:41:27 +0000 UTCHi everyone!
Another half month, another release. Struggled a bit with this one as I was trying to work on using CSP as well as trying to get used to the desert assets. Also, I learned that trying to do detailed mapmaking on a train is more difficult that I had hoped.
This release brings you Into the Stretching Sands. This is another customizable scene, but this time in the desert. I wanted to create a few more variations (an oasis and buried giant bones for example) but just ran out of time. I can save those ideas for future releases ;)
The map has 5 areas, each of which come with a few variations. Check out the video for more details, but the main themes were desert and mesas. Also included are the fortune teller's hut, various rivers, cliffs (mesas), houses and camps.
I have included various iterations of the map in the images folder too!
For those using Foundry, I also included a weather effect using the FX Master module. If you like this sort of thing let me know and I can include more.
