April 2023 Release II: Ruins of Grunvyr - The Forge Halls
🕑 Added 2023-05-02 02:50:23 +0000 UTCHi Everyone!
The new release this month is another installment in the Ruins of Grunvyr series - The Forge Halls! Located deep beneath the Great Hall scene and beside the Crypt scene, the Forge Halls contain the Flamebinder's Smelter. Long ago King Aedris of Grunvyr caught fire elementals to fuel his magical smelter, bringing further riches to Grunvyr. Now those halls have been abandoned by the dwarves, but were the elementals left behind?
This scene features three levels, with multiple paths through each. The magical smelter lies at its heart. Its magic remains strong and might still holds elemental(s) within. To open it four tokens must enter the four separate Rune Circles. Of course, the dwarves knew how to harness the smelter, but will the PCs? Or will they unwittingly release elementals within?
This map features 3 levels and numerous supplemental tiles to be used overhead or for move parts. This scene is where I imagined the dwarves of Grunvyr would smelt their ores, form them into bars and then work metals into weapons, jewelry and tools.
Hope you like it!
PS I apologize (again) I need to get better at posting just the images! They will be up soon - I promise!
