One of the worst things about this movie is that if you attend to the meaning of Zira's name, it was almost pre-established that she wasn't going to come around, and that's really sad.

On paper, in the script, Kovu is not officially Scar's son, but he is so in every other way, so as far as I'm concerned, he is scar's son, except for what was officially said
