Once there was plenty of empty space before him, Harry finally sat down at the table and started his lunch with gusto. Draco's cheeks turned slightly pink, and he dipped his head a little. "Right. Th-that was my mistake, Potter. I now realize that I was too hasty in judging you."
Harry raised an eyebrow in response. "Oh, really? So, does that mean you no longer consider me a mudblood?"
Draco's head jerked up in shock, and he looked at Harry with a scandalized expression. "O-Of course not, Potter. You're the only remaining heir of House Slytherin, which means you are our future leader. How could I even think such a horrid thing about you?"
Harry shook his head in response to Draco's answer. He couldn't believe how quickly the boy had changed his tune regarding him, merely because he now knew Harry was the heir to the most powerful family in Britain. Draco's mouth hung open in shock, and an angry rumbling noise came from behind him. It was the first time Harry laid eyes on the pair of hulking boys standing behind Draco, resembling dumb bodyguards. Harry's eyes narrowed dangerously at Draco's tone. "Never for a second think that you can order me to do something, Draco," he warned the boy. "As for your precious apology, you can shove it far up your ass."
Draco's face turned a dark shade of red, and he clenched his teeth in anger. In his entire life, nobody had dared to speak to him in this manner. For a moment, Draco's hands itched to draw out his wand and curse the boy in front of him. However, before he could do something so foolish, a girl appeared out of nowhere beside him and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Draco, darling, let's go," she whispered to him softly. "You don't want to make a scene here."
Draco took a deep breath to calm himself. He gave the girl beside him a grateful smile before his pureblood training kicked in, and he waved a hand toward her, saying, "This is Pansy Parkinson, Potter. My betrothed."
Harry glanced at Draco's future wife, and his eyes narrowed slightly as he recognized her from the previous night. She was among the numerous faces in the crowd openly jeering at him when Flint was about to curse him. Harry parted his lips, ready to let out a scathing remark about the two of them deserving each other, but then he noticed the rest of her appearance.

Slowly, she turned back to Harry and softly asked him, "Do you mind if I put up an anti-eavesdropping charm, Harry? People here don't seem to be able to mind their own business."
Despite knowing she was likely putting up a front, Harry couldn't help but chuckle at Pansy's spunky nature. He gave her a small nod, granting her permission.

Harry shrugged. "As you wish."
Pansy nodded firmly and stood up from her chair. She waved her wand again, breaking the privacy spell, before looking down at Harry. "You're an interesting man, Harry Potter. Hopefully, I'll be seeing you soon," she told him, turning around to leave.
