Padma, however, wasn't so easily deterred. "Don't you dare try to bullshit us, Brown. Tell me what did Weasley do to you this time?"
"It's nothing. Ron... he did nothing." Lavender answered with a careless shrug of the shoulders that was a little too careless.
Padma sighed at Lavender's stubbornness and pinched the bridge of her nose. "C'mon, Brown, don't be so daft. We're your friends and we know what Weasley's like. So, don't act like an idiot and tell us what he did, okay."
Padma's harsh words seemed to have the desired effect as something flashed over Lavender's face, a combination of pain and sorrow and anger.
"He cheated on me. Again! Is that what you wanted to hear from me, Padma?" The blonde hissed at the older girl.
As Lavender lost her steam, Parvati shot her sister a glare and then looked at her friend with eyes full of pity. "Oh, you poor thing. Come here." Lavender, however, wasn't paying much attention to her friend, as her eyes were far more focused on the elder Patil girl's reaction.
Padma's eyes had been narrowing more and more the entirety of time Lavender had been speaking, and by the time she stopped she was scowling fiercely. "I always told you that Weasley's a bad apple, Brown. But you never listened to me." she told Lavender harshly.
Before Lavender could give Padma a scatching reply in return, Parvati jumped in with her arms raised towards the two girls. "Okay. That's enough. No more word from the two of you."
For a few seconds the two girls continued to glare daggers at each other before suddenly Padma dropped her head in shame. "You're right, Padma. I'm being childish." The young witch then coughed and shot Lavender an apologetic look. "I'm sorry, Brown. For being so insensitive."
"It's fine. Just try to not be such a bitch in the future." Lavender returned with a little bite.
Padma couldn't help it and she suddenly burst into a laugh at Lavender's words. "Okay. I'll try it, Brown. But no promises." After a few moments however, she sobered up and looked at the blonde with a hint of concern in her eyes. "And what about you? Are you going to be alright? Because I know how much you loved that ginger bastard."
Lavender forced her thoughts away from her boyfriend and smiled back at the twins. "Yeah. I'll be fine."
"And you're not going to go running back to Weasley?" Parvati who had been silent so far cut in.
"... No. I've learned my lesson. I'm not going to waste any more of my time with him." Lavender answered her friend resolutely after only a slight hesitation.
The Patils, however, were not convinced very much by Lavender's statement. They searched the blonde's face for a second, before they looked at each other and seemed to come up with a decision.
"Come with us, Lavender," Parvati said suddenly standing up from her seat. "We have something that we think might help you forget Ron."
Padma noticed Lavender's hesitation and grabbed her hand with a scoff. "Don't look so worried, Brown. We're just taking you out into the Muggle world for a few hours. It'll help you to take your mind off of things."
In the end, Lavender had no choice. So, in the end, she just sighed in defeat and allowed the Patil twins to drag her out of the pub and out into the muggle world. As Parvati hailed a cab for them, Lavender hoped that she wasn't making a mistake going along with whatever her friends had planned for her.

Half an hour later, the cabby dropped the three witches in a poor looking neighborhood near the east end of London.
"Why the fuck are we here, guys? This place looks kind of dangerous." Lavender raised the question to her friends the second they were out of the car. As the three of them headed towards one of the unassuming looking building, Lavender could feel strong magical wards covering every single inch of the place. Not for the first time today, the blonde once again looked at the twins questioningly but they provided her no answers.
As Lavender followed her friends into the building, she could see that unlike the rest of the buildings in this neighborhood it wasn't just a simple muggle warehouse. If the wards outside weren't enough of a proof that it was a magical building, the magical torches on the wall were more than enough. Unlike Lavender, the Parvati twins didn't stop to gawk at the inside of the building and instead immediately headed towards the red door at the end of the hallway.
"C'mon, Lav, don't dawdle, darling," Parvati called out to Lavender as she noticed her friend had been left behind.
As she followed Parvati through the door and into a wide open room, Lavender's first thought was that it was just as empty as the rest of the house. But before the blonde could question her friends as to why were they here, she suddenly noticed a young man sitting on the floor half-hidden in the shadows feeding a gorgeous white snowy owl.
The large, black-haired man took notice of their arrival and stood up from the floor.
"Ah, my favorite customers. I have to admit I'm a bit surprised you girls are back here already." As he started to make his way towards them, Lavender could finally see the man's features. Lavender jumped a little as Harry suddenly clapped his hands together. "Okay. Well, you guys can wait here if you want. Or you can come back in an hour."
Lavender's best friend Parvati swapped a look with her sister and the two of them slowly started to back away towards the door.
"I think it's best if we come back in an hour. So, take good care of our friend, Harry." Padma told the wizard as she walked out of the door.
