This episode was so sad! If only they had taken the chains off of Hope, and not taken so long at the end. Like you said - if only Hope had listened to her mother. Elijah tsk tsk...I think at the end when Hayley closed her eyes that slow motion part, it's been suggested that she turned her humanity off, however I'm not sure. Maybe it was just her accepting her fate, and doing the only thing she could think of to save her family. Maybe part of her was heartbroken that Elijah didn't save her, at first I think she thought he was there for her only to quickly realize he was there for Greta and Roman. Of all the TVDU villains - Greta is my most hated character. I hate Greta with a passion.
