Story: Captured and Enraptured Pt 3

These men had removed her clothes and seen her completely naked. Had they done anything to her while she was out? Thoughts about this, and about what might happen to her next, filled her head. Lanna began to cry. The man in the ski mask came back over as soon as he heard her. He opened the door of the cage once again and started to try to rub her head to calm her. Muffled behind the pacifier, a frustrated Lanna yelled "No!" and started raging against her restraints. She felt ashamed to be sobbing in this cage and showing her fragility. She didn't want him to touch her and certainly didn't want him to comfort her in this pitiful moment. In response, the man slammed the door shut and stood over the cage, arms crossed looking down on her.
After a while Lanna tired herself out and was finally still. She continued to cry softly. The masked man sat on the floor by the head of the crate. He watched her there. The other three men went between standing around, leaning against the walls, or sitting on the bench attached to the wall of the van. Lanna tried to turn her head towards the man sitting by her, but the tightness of the collar wouldn't allow the motion. She coughed from the leather straining against her windpipe. After hearing this, the man opened the cage once more, this time practically leaning in, and reached towards her throat with both hands. Lanna flinched and closed her eyes out of fear and anticipation. She felt him pulling on the collar. It tightened slightly before falling open.
Lanna opened her eyes to see him lean back out of the cage and return to sitting in his spot. She turned her head towards him and stared back at him. The man did a little wave before pulling his knees up, folding his arms across them, and resting his chin on his arms. This man didn't seem evil, Lanna thought. She shook the thought out of her head and went back to staring at the ceiling. But he had kidnapped her! Clearly he was bad. She needed to anticipate a way to escape before he could really hurt her.
Lanna fell asleep somewhere along the way. Between the chloroform, struggling against her restraints, and the bumpiness of the van ride, she was exhausted and unable to keep herself awake. Eventually, the van came to a stop. The sudden change in momentum woke Lanna from her restless slumber. The masked man seemed to have fallen asleep as well, because one of the other three came over and placed his hand on the man's shoulder to shake it gently.
The man woke, felt his mask and dark glasses to make sure they were still in place, and unlatched the cage door. He refastened Lanna's collar, despite her whining and moving her head all about to avoid it. The collar was much looser than the first time, at least thankfully.
One of the three others handed the skimask man a large blanket, which he unfolded. He shook the blanket out and floated it down on top of the kennel so that Lanna's view was completely obscured. Upon seeing the blanket descend on the cage, she began to scream and yell behind her pacifier. She shook the bars vigorously. She heard the door of the van slide open and saw daylight filter through the blanket. The entire kennel was then lifted off of the floor to be carried away. Lanna tried to throw around her body weight, still yelling muffled curses and pleas, in hopes that they would drop her, and that this might somehow aid an escape. In fact the men did nearly drop her. One corner of the cage fell before quickly being raised again.
"Hey, watch it buddy!" one hollared, as they all readjusted their grip on the cage.
"I got it now, calm down. Fucking live wire in here, man. Gonna be a whole lotta fun keeping this one in check." another muttered sarcastically. The foot of her cage was lifted higher than the head, and the whole thing bumpily shifted side to side as they ascended a few steps.
"'Ey! Enough! Focus on getting this through the door," a third reprimanded. "Where should we set her?"
There was no spoken response. Perhaps he made a gesture, or simply ignored the man. The other three voices must have been the grunts. The ski mask man, the leader, wasn't even letting his voice be heard. These three seemed rather careless, but this man, he knew what he was doing. Had he done this before? Was she going to be one of many victims; just another notch in the bedpost? The one thing that gave Lanna solice, was that perhaps it was a good sign that she hadn't seen his face or heard his voice. Perhaps he would allow her to leave when he was done with her, since she would be unable to pick him from a line up. She hoped, if nothing more, that at least he wasn't intending to kill her. She knew not what intentions he had with her.
