Seems like you can update the employee schedules so that they never take breaks especially with the no quitting settings you enabled

Dan, if you place the slide platform just anywhere, add the gate to it and then move the platform with the gate it should then snap to paths instead of fiddling loads with it

Not sure if you've realised yet but this game has a pretty common MAJOR bug of guests getting stuck in queues and being unable to move until you close and re-open the ride
