This game looks like such a love letter to early sonic, by the second track I had a headache

They did a great job not making it just a Mario kart clone, it seems like racing wise it’s a cross between Mario kart and F-zero, with some smaller gameplay elements actually taken from the sonic games rather than just the aesthetics
