More Print Tier Slots Incoming!

As we approach September in a year that shows about as much sign of slowing down as Richard Hammond approaching a corner, we at Nerd³ FUNdamentalism INC have realised that we’ve now sent out an entire year worth of art prints! That’s 12,000 pieces of double sided monthly fun-times shipped, 6,000 holographic stickers slapped onto laptops, and 530,000 problems with Royal Mail, bless ‘em.
It’s been quite the journey. Initially it all went on fire, and we shipped things with all the speed and tenacity of a dead sloth, but finally we managed to smooth things over to the point that even major collapses in all of our lives simultaneously cause no more than a few days delay in shipping the little buggers out. Things are going well, so, here’s the news!
From 2nd September 2022, we will be adding 210-ish more slots across the UK and Worldwide art tiers!
This news is very hush-hush and Patreon exclusive for now. Sometime after the 2nd I’ll be tweeting about it, making a video etc etc to let the rest of the world know, so if you want in, you’ll have a few days heads up before the masses turn up. Matt will turn up at some point before the new slots go live to go into some details about launch times etc, but if you’ve been wanting to join onto the print train, this’ll be your best chance for a while.
Now, let’s talk pricing. As you will have noticed, everything is going up in price these days. Milk costs more than gold, you need a mortgage to fill your car, and only Elon Musk can afford a Freddo. That’s why I have to announce that… nothing is changing this side. Big Gaz down at the print shop owes me a favour, let’s just say I have some photographs of him in a Sailor Moon costume he’d rather not be tweeted (The stitching on it is AWFUL), and so the prices will remain the same. I’ve seen a few folks worried about this, but don’t worry. We’ve got no plans to up the price. At all. Graham in accounting suggested it once, so I went back in time and erased him from existence. Remember Graham? You’re goddamn right you don’t.
Videos! Our original plan was to upload a video showing off the prints of that month, so if you liked them and backed them, you’d get those prints. However, that plan turned out to have two problems. One, I keep forgetting. Two, the prints were always sold out, so it just felt like a Bullseye style “Let’s see what you could have won,” type tease for everyone who hadn’t backed them, leading to some people fruitlessly mashing F5 in the hope of securing a slot. We’re thinking that, from now on, the videos will go up as they ship, to show off that month’s fab art for the non-backers, and letting you know when prints have shipped. Two birds, one cup video.
Finally, I just want to say thank you for the incredible support of these prints. Rebecca and I love working on them each month and, from the feedback we get, you lot seem to love them too. We’ve got some great plans ahead and, yes, we’ll be continuing with the console stickers each month. Remember when they were just a bonus for the first month? Neither do we!
Anyway, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go limber up my hand. I might have a bit more signing to do in the future!

Very happy to hear more print slots are opening up. Had to discontinue my US print membership because I lost my job and was extremely disappointed about that.

Read this then glanced at the tiers to see how much said tier cost and noticed two slots were just AVAILABLE. So now I'm paying a tenner a month more to the Nerdcubed Ltd's coffers (and am excited to see what I get through the letterbox).
