Hera sat up with a jerk. She rubbed at her sore neck, having been leaning it back against the couch without the proper support. The TV screen had timed out, having switched to the brightly colored screensaver. They must have passed out after settling into their anime binge. The pizza box, three-quarters empty, sat on the floor. The sodas they had drank stood in organized little rows side by side, four of hers to two of his. Rolling her neck and feeling it pop satisfyingly, she looked around more.
The living room was dark, lit only by the illumination cast by the screen. Kelin lay against her, head against her arm like it was a big, fluffy pillow, dozing softly. She beamed down at him and leaned to give him a kiss on the top of his dark-haired head. He immediately twitched at her light touch and she felt incredibly guilty having disturbed him.
His bright blue eyes blinked open and he immediately winced, rubbing at them. His contacts must have been bothering him. Once he was able to see, he looked up at her. Their eyes met and they shared a smile.
"Hello beautiful," he murmured. Her heart melted just a little.
"Hello, handsome," she growled softly at her little boyfriend. He mumbled something, a pleased smile on his face, and she wasted no time in plucking him up in her arms, resulting in a slightly surprised squeak from him. She quickly plopped him back down into her lap before folding herself around him. He immediately snuggled into her fur, head nuzzling the floof of her collarbone.
"Time izzit...?" she heard him mumble, voice slightly muffled.
She settled back against the arm of the couch and stretched herself out just a bit more. One big paw rubbed up and down his back through the thin t-shirt he wore. "Is no matter," she whispered into his ear then kissed him again. "If you are tired, sleep. Hera has you, and I will never let go."
"Good..." Kelin yawned. "I don't know where I'd be without you..."
"Nor I without you." She sighed deeply, completely and utterly content. She did eventually glance up at the clock on the wall. 1:15 AM. A twinge in her neck made her sigh. Sleeping on the couch was sweet and all but it felt silly, given that there was a perfectly good bed just down the hall. She felt Kelin stir against her. "Do you want to move to actual bedroom?" she asked.
"Don't care..." he mumbled. "Long as I don't have to leave the floof..."
She rolled her eyes, chuckling, and cupped her arms more firmly around her little boyfriend. "Kelin is very spoiled," she teased before she stood, closed the pizza box with a toe, and turned off the tv. With the room now darker, she shuffled her way down the hall to the bedroom. The bed was still a mess from earlier and she gingerly placed Kelin down on the sheets.
He yawned loudly and then, to her surprise, sat up. She had just put her paws on the ties to her bathrobe, the only thing she was wearing over her fur. He looked up at her and then rubbed at his eyes. His contacts were probably bothering him. "Bathroom..." he grunted and then hoisted himself back up off the bed. He shuffled past her but leaned up as high as he could to kiss her on the cheek, which made her hum happily, even if she had to bend down to let him do so.
She watched him exit the room and enter the bathroom. The light across the hall clicked on and she heard him shuffling and moving around. Soft curses and sighs came, as well as the sounds of running water. She removed her robe and reached for a nightgown or something, feeling a bit self-conscious that she was still very much naked compared to him. She glanced once at where they had been a few hours ago. Her Aggression fluttered softly to life and she gave the tiniest growl of appreciation. It wasn't...too late...
She forgoed the nightgown and removed the bathrobe, letting it pile on the floor as she climbed up and into the bed. She draped the sheet over her lower half and propped herself up on her elbows, facing the door to the bedroom. One paw combed out her hair a little bit so that it hung a bit more seductively.
The light clicked off and a surge of eagerness blazed through her. Kelin reentered the room. He wasn't wearing his glasses. He looked around the room, eyes fixing onto her. They went wide, crystal blue orbs glittering in the dark. He still looked rather sleepy though. "Hey," he said lamely.
She hummed. "Hello," she cooed back at him. She leaned her chin on her paws, looking him up and down. "I usually sleep without clothes. That is problem?"
He shook his head. "Not at all." He looked down at himself then. "Can't help but feel overdressed though."
Hera's eyebrow wiggled and her ears quivered against her head. "Well, you are Human. Would not want you to get cold without clothing. Weak and hairless after all." Her tone was light and teasing.
As she had expected, Kelin bristled a little bit, drawing himself up adorably. "Hey, watch it, furball," he growled, eyes sparkling more. "Hairless maybe, but I ain't weak."
She sat up a bit more, shifting her form to let the covers slide lower and expose more of her gloriously bare body. She knew that in dim lighting, her silvery fur and hair tended to nearly shine on their own. The way he stared at her as if a starving man gazing at a feast laid out before him, made her wriggle happily. "Kelin is certainly weak to some things..." she rumbled.
He tore his eyes away from her swaying chest and forced them back up to her face. He swallowed a bit. He didn't look quite as tired anymore. "W-well..." he stammered cutely. "Nobody told me to build my in-life character sheet to be able to resist literal Ursid perfection."
"And who said you had to resist?" she countered, not about to let his eloquent flattery distract her this time.
"Society," he shot back. "Public decorum. Laws against ravishing your girlfriend in public."
One eyebrow lifted. One of her paws swept down her side, cupping one breast and then trailing down her ribs, sliding, tantalizingly, along the still covered swell of her thigh and hips. His eyes obediently followed that paw along its journey before flitting back to hers again. "But we are not in public right now..." Her voice had dropped an octave, growling softly now.
"T-true..." he admitted.
She gave a long, heaving sigh, knowing what it would do to her chest and adoring how he literally gave a whining sound as he watched the resulting bounce. "But, it is late. Perhaps we sleep more, da?" She pulled open the sheets invitingly and patted the spot beside her.
Kelin stood stock still for a long moment. His eyes were wide and his hands were trembling a small bit. Eventually, he seemed to stir, shocking himself out of his slight paralyzation. "S-sure..." he stuttered and shuffled over to the bed. His scent came to her sensitive nose and she grinned wider. As handsome as Kelin was when he was being all macho and competitive with her, seeing him all shy and awkward was just as attractive in equally wonderful ways.
Making room for him, Hera curled into his back and draped a big paw over his waist, or more accurately most of his upper body and hips. She breathed a warm kiss against the back of his neck and settled in, spooning her Human boyfriend lovingly. "Goodnight my Kelin," she whispered.
"Goodnight..." Kelin replied, voice a bit quavering and softer than usual. He pressed himself a bit more firmly back against her furry bulk and she hummed contentedly.
Even if her plan didn't work, this outcome was almost as good. Being this close to him, sharing a bed with her beloved boyfriend, was a dream come true for her. It was all she truly needed. All other possibilities of their relationship truly were icing on the cake, no matter how sweet, compared to the reality she got to enjoy every day that she had her Little Tyr in her arms.
Several long minutes stretched out and Hera waited, patiently, to see what would come. She could hear Kelin's breathing, uncertain and uneven, as well as feel his pounding heartbeat through their close, snuggling proximity. If he was truly tired, they would sleep, and she would plan on a pleasant morning. If not...
"Hera?" Kelin whispered. Her smile widened. She hummed in response, pretending to be half asleep. "Are you awake?" She hummed again. "I'm uhh..."
She curled in around him more. Her lips pressed against his ear and her paw tightened across his belly, almost as if using him as a stuffed animal or body pillow. "Uncomfortable?" she murmured.
"No...not at all!" He shifted against her and she couldn't help but growl softly as his scent climbed a bit higher. He really liked it when she snuggled in like this, pressing all sorts of both hard and soft bits of her furry anatomy against him. He just didn't want to admit to it. "I-it's fine though."
"New couples take time to learn to sleep together," she responded, trying to sound innocent. Sleeping was the absolute last thing on her mind right then. Time to change tactics. "Does Kelin need me to roll over?"
Kelin started to object but she was already moving, letting go of him and flopping onto her other side. She heard him shift, sighing, and she arched her back, using her posterior to pointedly press against his hips as he turned to be the 'big' spoon now to her 'little' one. He gave a grunt in surprise and she had to suppress a savage growl as she felt what she had been searching for pressing up against her bare cheeks through the thin fabric of his sleep pants.
"There, much better," she told him, incredibly pleased with herself. "For as big as I am, I like being little spoon. This is good?"
"So good," Kelin responded, breath catching a bit. He folded a hand up over her hip and actually pushed himself just a little more against her. That firm shape pressed harder against her furry rear and she again bit off a growl. "I don't think I would ever mind spooning you."
"Hopefully that is not all you do not mind doing..." she murmured huskily back at him. She arched her back and looked back at him. Her hair hung mostly over one side of her face but her gaze settled firmly back onto his flustered and nervous face behind her. She wiggled, intentionally, back against him. "He certainly seems to not mind either."
His face went very red and he actually shivered against her. "S-sorry..." He didn't move despite his apology. "It's..."
"Entirely natural response," she finished for him. She arched an eyebrow teasingly. "This is why Kelin cannot sleep?"
He clammed up and nodded.
"Even after amazingness of earlier?"
He nodded again, hiding his face a bit in her fluffy back. "Sorry..."
She flexed her lower body, abruptly squeezing against him and making him once again grunt in surprise. His hands, having wormed themselves around her, took brief and intense grips in her fur before relaxing. "Who said Kelin had to be sorry?" she asked. She met his eyes again, her lips rolling up on one side and revealing the tips of her long sharp teeth.
"So you...don't mind?" he asked, sounding hopeful as well as relieved. Spirits, how could one person be so damn cute and innocent despite that he was an adult and had obviously been in situations like this before? She almost felt bad with how much of his innocence she wanted to despoil.
She pressed slowly back against him more, eliciting a pleased sigh from them both at the increase of pressures and soft or hard textures. "Nyet," she growled. "Because there is secret, my 'little' Kelin."
"Hmm?" he hummed at her, one hand now stroking up and down her side, which was entirely satisfying just by itself. His hands were magic...
"I cannot sleep either."
His eyes went wide up at her as she beamed over her shoulder at him. She gave him a nod and then, bending easily, arched at the hip and leaned back to press a hot kiss against his lips. He melted into it, arms wrapping around her more firmly. Then she began to wiggle and flex her hips more openly. Kelin's shuddering breath fluttered against her muzzle and she grinned. He watched her, her keen ears all but able to hear his frantically accelerating heartbeat and breathing pattern.
She adjusted herself on the bed, kicking the sheets off, and then rolled onto her front next to him. Her legs pressed firmly together and she folded her elbows underneath herself, propping her front up while keeping the rest of her body flat on the bed. She looked over at him, noticing that he was rather openly staring at her bare rear. She wiggled it before his eyes and he gave an appreciative groan.
"Like this," she explained.
He got up onto his knees immediately, lifting shaking hands to his shirt and peeling it off. Next, he lifted one leg and removed his sleep pants as well, exposing that over-eager and sentinel-esque part of himself. It stood, tall and proud, perpendicular from his waist. She even saw it bob once in excitement as he stared again at her large, plush cheeks and the fluffy tail just above them.
Kelin threw his discarded clothing from the bed and then slowly, carefully, slid up atop her thighs. "Don't be," she replied, still watching him adjust his stance. He lay pretty much entirely atop of her lower body, his hips obscured from view behind the swells of her admittedly large and curvy ass. He beamed to finally see her face, although he did quail a bit at her no doubt feral expression. "Hera, you okay?" he asked. He stroked her shoulder again and she gave a wriggling, high-pitched growl as that caused him to shift inside of her by even the tiniest bit.
She nodded rapidly. She was biting onto her bottom lip hard to resist letting out another snarl. That had been...intense. In all her times and various experiences, mating had never once been quite that explosively satisfying to just achieve the basic first penetration. Her limbs actually shuddered a bit. It was almost embarrassing that her reaction was this evocative just from that first movement.
"Feels...good..." she rasped up at him at last, finally able to get her rampaging emotions in check enough. She blinked rapidly and fixed her tunnel vision back onto his face. He appeared relieved. "Sorry if I...scared you..."
He shook his head. She took that time to clench around him snugly again and he groaned, pulsing inside of her. "N-no...problem..." he grunted through clenched teeth. "It's...amazing...I was so worried that I...wouldn't be...any good given the size...difference, even as hot as it is."
"Very hot?" she asked imploringly, needing to know for sure that this was real. She had never needed something to be more real than she did right now. She had to know he felt as good as she did. She rippled her inner muscles around him, almost as if stroking him off.

She looked back at him over her shoulder once more. "I love you..." she whispered as she felt him adjusting his position in preparation to continue. It was important to say, especially now. She had never felt or meant it quite as powerfully ever before in her life.
His eyes met hers. Kelin smiled, eyes and teeth as bright as the moon that streamed in through the covered windows. "I love you," he murmured. "And I always will." Even though in this position, he barely came up to her shoulder blades, he hugged her as tightly as possible, pushing in as deep as he could so that they could be that much closer. She gave out a soft sound of adoration before she adjusted herself on the bed and he similarly lifted himself back up into position.
His hands, having relaxed their grips on her, slowly lowered his body once he was properly situated. He reclined fully to all but lay atop of her. His chest pushed flush with her pillowy ass cheeks and he began to slowly, but firmly, buck his hips. He set up an easy, tentative rhythm that soon had them both relaxing fully into a tandem chorus of groans, sighs, gasps, and chuckles as they finally consummated their feelings for one another in the most intimate fashion possible.

He nodded frantically up at her, finally tearing his eyes away from her ass and little bobbing tail. "Y-yeah..." he panted. "I can see why...Ursid...mate like this..."
"Endurance is key," she giggled, wiggling around him as he rested for a second and allowed her to take control again. "We will work on yours."

"I-I...I don't..." he panted even faster, gritting his teeth. She flexed and he let out a groan. "I can't...decide in situations like this!" he complained.
Hera decided for him. She bucked her hips forward fully, pulling him briefly out of her. He let out a disappointed, frantic sound before she pumped her hips up and back. Kelin, not expecting the wall of Ursid ass to come crashing back at him, was knocked flat onto his back. Hera sat up in a rush, moving his legs out straight, and then planted herself back onto the proud spire that stood up from his panting, sweat-streaked body. She nestled most of but not all her weight back down and onto him, once again impaling herself on her favorite new toy. She looked back down at him over her shoulder as he lay there, pinned beneath and behind her.
The little Human struggled in vain beneath her before he collapsed fully beneath her. He looked up at her then, eyes going wide to see just how much she towered over him like this. She felt, more than heard, the rustling of sheets beside her, and a second later, Kelin's warm scent and skin were pushing back into her embrace. She immediately cuddled around him, wrapping him up as tightly as she could.
They lay there like that for a long time, chests heaving, his sweat staining her fur and her not caring at all. She must have kissed him a thousand times but he responded to each and every one, whether kissing her back or leaning into her crooning mouth with his cheek, throat, or head. His hands stroked and petted her thick fur, worming down into it and massaging her quivering muscles.
Eventually, they met one another's eyes. There was a pause as they gazed at each other. Ursid stared at Human. Then, they smiled, and laughed. It was a ragged, soft, but loving laugh. Their arms clutched each other tighter than before and their foreheads met in a loving exchange of words, feelings, and emotions that needed no explanation. They were together. In the end, at the end of all things, that was all that mattered. What they had been before, apart, no longer seemed important.
She was his Polar Bear, his Ursid, his introverted, muscle queen who loved heavy metal, weight-lifting, working out, and anime.
He was her Human, her geek, her little Tyr. He was her music-loving and playing prodigy who put every ounce of his passion into everything he did in life.
They had found one another. They had truly, utterly, found the other half to their soul. Nothing could ever tear them apart, not without a roaring, raging, screaming fight from either to protect their other half, their shining love. He had saved her from the cave of her self-doubt, her self-hate, her depression, her trauma, and her pain. She had saved him, made him believe in love again, made him believe he deserved love again. They saved each other.
The right to a Bear's Arms was not a privilege. It was not a right at all. It had to be earned. And Kelin had earned her heart utterly. He had stolen it and left behind his own.
