🕑 Added 2022-09-12 18:28:49 +0000 UTCA man and death sit at a craps table. The man, an avid gambler, watches the dice clutched in Deaths bony hand. There but for the roll of the dice is his life and death.
Reaper grim and of skull visage turns to the man and extends his white fingers that clutch the carven bone cubes. "Blow"
The man shakes his head.
"Blow on my dice" death orders. "Its your last breath on the line"
The man shakily lets out a long breath over the dice.
Death turns and rolls them as soon as that air touches his boney fingertips. Their eyes fix upon the spinning dice, slowly slowing to their eventual pause.
The man tries to draw in a breath to steady himself but cannot. He cannot breathe in. Not until he knows the outcome.
