Cassandra grinned as Mr. Cross gave her his consent, allowing her free reign to take the lead. She allowed herself a surge of relief and satisfaction; she hadn't ever really felt this truly excited while on the job, at least not in a very long time. This man hadn't needed to do anything that he had tonight, not the 5-star meal, the dancing, even the simple, if unorthodox request for her to just be herself.
