So far: Nosferatu for certain. The Brutalist looks promising. A Complete Unknown. Not sure if Room Next Door was already released. Possibly Y2K. Ride of the Rohirrim.

Nightbitch for sure. I love Amy Adams with any project she’s a part of. But this certainly looks like a departure from her comfort zone. Nosferatu (because, Eggers. Obviously) Babygirl - just because I’m in need of my annual theatrically released lifetime “fatal attraction” type movie. Haha!

Most looking forward to Nosferatu and Babygirl, which funnily enough both release on Christmas lol. Also eagerly anticipating The Brutalist which has a late December release, but I think that is limited to only LA/NY areas so I’ll probably have to wait until early 2025 to catch it.

Nightbitch - “The film concerns a magical realism-style story of a stay-at-home mom who sometimes transforms into a dog” That premise and title alone won me over, not mention it stars Amy Adams. This movie will be epic one way or another. December 13 1, Nickel Boys - Been getting buzz for months. Very curious. 2. The Last Showgirl - “After a successful thirty-year run, a seasoned showgirl (Anderson) must plan her future after the show closes abruptly.” Directed by Gia Coppola (Francis’s granddaughter), starring Pamela Anderson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Dave Bautista, Brenda Song, Kiernan Shipka, Billie Lourd and Jason Schwartzman December 20,2024 The Brutalist - From the sound of things this will be one of the most talked about movies come award season. Stars Adrien Brody, Felicity Jones, Guy Pearce, Joe Alwyn, and Alessandro Nivola December 25, 2024 1. Nosferatu - Most anticipated movie of the month. Early reactions are definitely adding to the hype. 2. Babygirl - “ A high-ranking CEO (Nicole Kidman) embarks on a forbidden romance with a captivating intern (Harris Dickinson), who is significantly younger.” Looks hilarious based on the trailer. 3. Nosferatu, Lord of the Rings, Y2K, Nightbitch, I don't particularly care for Sonic, Kraven & A Complete Unknown but I'll probably watch them at a matinee.

Babygirl looks really interesting. Wasn't a fan of Bodies Bodies Bodies, but this subject matter is much more interesting to me and some critics I trust really dug it. The Room Next Door. Admittedly it would be my first Almodovar film; I imagine one starring Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton is a great entry point though. There's also a comedy horror called Get Away with comedians I like (Nick Frost and Aisling Bea). Seems to be sort of a Shaun of the Dead meets Midsommar kind of thing. I'll definitely see Nosferatu but it looks a bit over the top to me to be honest.
