Krispy Kreme. I remember this Indian kid in high school who is probably a heart surgeon today, and he would drive 100 miles for fresh Krispy Kremes as a teenager. That amazed me at the time. He would also pull the parking brake going 40 miles an hour. The car would spin DOUGHNUTS! People would get maniacal. That kid was fucking crazy, but he was fucking smart, and he was probably right about Krispy Kremes.

I grew up with Dunkin' so my taste buds are hopelessly biased. But there is no Dunkin' in Singapore--just Krispy Kreme and a host of other local offerings. But I do get to go home on occasion, and then a cup of Dunkin' coffee and a donut or three reminds me of my loyalties, which in the end, will always be . . . Entenmanns. :)

If I had to choose between these two, I’d go Krispy Kreme. I’m a sugar-holic, so I love the extra sweetness of Krispy Kreme donuts. Strange Donuts are my fav donuts, though.
