Dinner Meeting with H.W. Plainview

For those who don't know, I interviewed him last year about what it was like to star in There Will Be Blood as a young kid with no acting experience. We've been in contact for years. Was only a matter of time before we met in person. As suspected, we talked for hours lol. And no...not much about the movie. I didn't ask about it. He brought it up a couple of times. But other than that, just a good honest conversation.

I go to a place called Bonito’s. It’s a taquería inside a Mexican grocery store. They have excellent lengua tacos.

Haha well...imma be honest...it wasnt my choice. I'm hispanic so...I take mexican food seriously. But we went to El Fenix. Don't tell my dad. He might disown me XD XD XD. But honestly...it wasnt bad. I just know what to order. The margaritas did their job, I'll definitely say that! But definitely not due to the taste. Too sweet for me.

Nah we've actually been in contact long before that. Even if the interview had never taken place we planned on meeting. The interview was always more just a dream I had hoping he might say yes.

It’s cool that you finally got to meet him in person. I should go back and watch that interview. Haven’t seen it since you first released it. I do remember thinking he was a cool dude though. I really have only one question to ask, but it’s an important one: How were the margaritas?

Sweet! I remember that interview you did with him. Not a lot of actors today are worth meeting so it's a good thing he left the entertainment industry before it became the cesspit it is now. I still gotta see TWBB and he should be more interesting to see now with the knowledge we have about him since his role.

That’s awesome. Very very lucky man to have had the experience he did working with two of the greatest to ever do it - Anderson & Lewis. Wise beyond his years to realize then it wasn’t for him and go onto have a normal life and be happy. Good for him.
