Thanks. Just throwing out some random possibilities, plenty of other great options were listed by the other patrons, always happy to see something I've not seen before too. I actually re-watched The Beguiled last week and that's when I discovered there was a remake - I guess I'll have to try and watch it at some point to see if I feel the hatred too! :)

You have great pics as always. I was sooo close to watching Ace in the Hole the other night with a buddy of mine. I need to revisit it. Mulholland Drive sounds like a good option too. Just because...might be fun to hear everyone discuss in realtime. Hopefully people have seen it already. ><

You've got some great choices. You've actually given me an idea. I really hate the remake of The Beguiled. Like...really hate it. And I feel more people need to see the original. You reminded me that we should at that as an option. Also Ball of Fire, Funny Face, etc.. Many good ones

Good to know, it's the only film I know of that has a tone/feeling similar to Picnic at Hanging Rock so I figured she'd probably dig it.

Ball of Fire would definitely be fun. Bone Tomahawk as well. She’s a fan of the The Beguiled (1971) and hates the new one.

I would like to see if I can get a good copy of the red shoes, I have never seen it but I want too, particulary for jack cradifs photography.

Yeah I've seen it, it was shot at night on the same sets as Dracula and in many ways its a better film, it's a lot smoother in its direction IMO, but less iconic than regular Dracula.

If I was going to suggest films with more of a collective fun vibe I'd maybe go with - Ball of Fire (1941), Funny Face (1957), Come drink with me (1966), Night of the Creeps (1986) or Ode to Joy (2019) However, there is also a part of me that would love to see how you'd react to certain films seeing them live for the first time (assuming you have not seen them) such as - These Three (1936), Scarlet Street (1945), The Beguiled (1971), I never promised you a rose garden (1977), A Special Day (1977) or Bone Tomahawk (2015).

Some good choices here I see his girl Friday is popular, so I will put Un prophete 2009 instead. Also if people like Cary grant movies, I suggest, Arsenic and old Lace. And question has anyone seen the Spanish language version of, Dracula? Black and white, Old don't have the date to hand
