I really need to revisit Paths of Glory, and certainly will review it. And I like what you say about Eyes Wide Shut. Can see where you're coming from.

Still need to see Tangerine. Sometimes Eyes Wide Shut ends up near the top of my Kubrick list and sometimes it’s near the bottom. I find my opinion on almost all of his movies changes whenever I see them again. I saw Paths of Glory for the first time last year, and I don’t know that he ever bettered it. I was absolutely blown away.

I didn't realize that Psycho was also a Christmas film. It's set in mid-December.

I still struggle with it. It's one of my least favorite Kubrick films still. However, I do find more things to admire in it than I did initially.

Just out of curiosity, do you feel the same about Eyes Wide Shut after rewatching it again? I remember from your review a few years ago you had been a fan of it until you rewatched it for you review.
