Boy Meets World
🕑 Added 2021-09-06 02:52:42 +0000 UTCI think it would be very hard to find someone who knows Boy Meets World trivia on my level. Not proud of it, but it's more of a confession. haha There's an episode that involves a guest appearance by Fred Savage. Of course Ben Savage played Corey Matthews, the lead on Boy Meets World, and his brother Fred was also also a famous child actor of Wonder Years fame. Of all the guest appearances you could ask Fred Savage to do on Boy Meets World...they chose to have him play a young college professor who inappropriately comes onto his student, Topanga....aka Corey's fiance. It's....a curious choice. Quite strange. Somewhat incestuous. I am inclined to believe that maybe they figured picking someone like Fred Savage for a role like this would be surprising and no one would see it coming. But...wow. They look too alike for this to work. XD Surprisingly heavy subject to have both Savage brother's showcased. Any BMW nostalgic fans in the house?

I even saw Rider Strong.

Some more trivia: Will Daniels, who plays Mr. Feeney, lives in my hometown, in my neighborhood. I'd see him at the local grocery store every single day, and I've gotten to meet him multiple times.

Totally. Alan was fantastic. Both parents I always really liked. Thought they were underrated.

Same here. I miss those times.

Yep I grew up on Boy Meets World but totally don't remember the Fred Savage episode lol. It was one of the main shows I watched coming home from school when I was a kid, so there's some level of nostalgia I have for it. Can't believe Mr. Feeny is still alive in his 90s.

I always felt Alan was the most realistic TV dad of all time, especially in the early seasons. Wasn’t super rich. Had a very normal job at a supermarket. I often think about the episode when he lets Corey stay up to watch a no-hitter because it reminds me of my father taking me out of school to go watch a baseball game.

Watched it all the time as a kid. Wish there was a way to revisit like how Friends is in HBO. I’d leave in on in the background just to see Shawn, Eric, and Mr. Feeney again.

Love Boy Meets World. Love The Wonder Years. Love Little Monsters with both the Savage brothers.

Went to school with Topanga. She was a few years older than me. Her brother was in my class. Probably have seen only a couple of episodes. It wasn’t for me.

My sister used to watch it when they showed it on the Disney Channel. I didn't because as a dumb boy, I hated almost everything she liked. I saw Fred Savage in The Wizard many times as a teenager. Not proud of that.
