Spicy Chicken Sandwich Journey
🕑 Added 2021-06-15 19:11:00 +0000 UTCOkay, I can't remember how much I have told you guys about my quest to find the best fast food spicy chicken sandwich, but it's been a thing I've chipped away at with a friend overtime. I know every content creator and their mother is doing the same thing, but it's actually quite a fun experiment. And who would say no to trying various spicy chicken sandwiches? Remember, it's for science!!! XD So far I've done Popeyes of course, Chick-fil-a, Burger King, Golden Chick, KFC, and Whataburger. I know I need to do McDonalds as well, so that's on the list. Any that I'm missing or that you think I should include? Also, do you think I should do a video on it? I know it's not movie related but...haha could be a random venture. XD

I still have never had Popeye's. A REALLY, really good spicy chicken sandwich is the one from The Habit. It's a famous chain in California that started in my hometown, Santa Barbara. Not sure if it expanded across the States, in Texas especially. But, if there is one in Dallas, keep an eye out for The Habit! Their spicy chicken sandwich is AMAZING! But they're known for their burgers, and the Santa Barbara Style charburger is TO DIE FOR!!

Church's chicken is the only other one I can think of that is in that lane of southern style chicken sandwich that you didn't mention.

I’ve tried the McDonalds one. It was underwhelming at best. I’ve heard good things about Zaxbys spicy chicken sandwich, but I haven’t been back home to Oklahoma in two years. So I haven’t tried it myself.

So I excluded Wendy's just because I grew up eating that spicy chicken sandwich as a kid. Plus we try and stick to sandwiches that fit the current trend of spicy mayo, pickle combo. The ones in competition with popeyes. Unfortunately Zaxby's is not in my area.

Wendy's and Zaxbys should be part of that list if you can. But yeah, chicken sandwich video would be really fun. Non-movie content is very refreshing.
