I've actually never seen the sequel. But I'm thinking it would be hard to find something that sucks as much as the original.

Yeah. I was never a big fan. I saw it for the first time as an adult a few years ago and it was worse than I remembered. A few decent songs but otherwise it's incredibly generic like a tv movie.
