I can't say if the trailer is representative of her performance as I haven't seen but I think she brings a lot of nuance and subtly to the role. Which is a good counterpoint to John David Washington going very big.

Interesting. I have seen the trailer and worried based on what I saw that she may not have the maturity to carry this off. But I could be wrong. We'll see!

Caught a virtual screening of it last week without seeing the trailer and watching the first three episodes of Euphoria. I think if someone likes conversational dramas like the Before trilogy specifically and also doesn't yell "that's pretentious" anytime an artist talkings about their craft and art in a piece of art then it's really enjoyable. I found it a touch repetitive and a little too indulgent at points but overall I thought it was a wonderful movie about art, the artist and his muse. Plus Zendaya kills it in the acting field.

Prisoners of the Ghostland is for me the most anticipated movie this year. I wonder when I'll be able to watch it, at least the trailer. Curious what will cooperation Sion Sono with US bring. If you're not familar with this director, I encourage you to check him out.
