He gets angry that you aren’t taking the cause, or these dangerous men, seriously. But underneath it, you can’t help but sense he is protecting you, just to protect you. The last week of your stay, you’ve grown close in the isolation, but a horrible storm has flooded the river and cut the power. To keep away from windows and stay warm, you share his bed, and your buried desires remind each other how much you both need companionship, and a healing touch…

one of my fave story tropes is grumpy guy falling for this person who has come into their life. so this was an absolute treat!! ❤️ usually i have lots of ideas about how id like a story to continue but not sure how we can get loner ranger and baker girl living happily ever after but this one is one im definately hoping there is a sequel one day! ❤️❤️

Absolutely loved it 💜 really liked the script! The story is so different from what we usually get, super cute and worked really well! The SFX are always top tier on BKS but in this one omg, just perfect! The changes when walking on the woods, the distancing when he's in the bathroom and so on! The details are outstanding 👏 Now excuse me while I go eat a muffin, since it's the only one of the two things I'm craving that I can actually get right now (I'll give you a clue about the other thing: starts with an R 😏)
