What have I been up to?
• Improvements to table parsing in adventure muncher and a way to override/fix generated table names.
• Scenes are now versioned, and a popup will display a list of changed scenes when you reimport and adventure.
• Improved journal linking in generated adventures.
• A bunch of enhancements and fixes for spells and features.
• Character updates now keep any automation animations on features/items/spells.
• Tokenizer received some great enhancements, including paste, drag and drop. A rewrite took place that allows its use from external modules for things other than existing actors. This is to help towards the Hero Creation Tool that's in development by other authors.
• Support for the new AC calculation system in the D&D5e v1.4.1 system.
• An unexpected bug around big changes to the formatting of Curse of Strahd at DDB's end.
What went wrong?
- Although I knew the AC changes were coming, they arrived without notice! The suddenness of the release left me scrambling to get a compatible release out of the door. The AC changes are good, and it's another solid step towards a more robust 5e system in Foundry.
- D&D Beyond changed some formating in their Curse of Strahd adventure, which resulted in some broken processing. A workaround is in place, although some notes may still be missing on the map.
What's coming this month?
I need to make some changes to help compensate for D&D Beyond changing adventure formatting in the future - I have some ideas on how to do it. Still, I need to spend some time thinking and experimenting.
I also had hoped to have a new feature released to God Tier supporters to try this month, but the problems mentioned above have pushed it back.
It's the school summer holidays this month. I'll not be very online for seven days starting from the 16th of August as I take a week's vacation with the family.
The key posts have been updated with the new keys for August. The 0.8.x version now supports linking your Patreon account to auto-generate a key that's valid for a month. I'll slowly be phasing out the keys posted to the key page, but they will remain as people transition to the 0.8.x version of the software.

Hi Jimmy, this can happen sometimes when using the client. If you copy and paste the key in the window into Foundry you should be good.

Hey, just a quick question because i just entered your patreon yesterday and did all my uploads to Foundry yesterday morning. Are those changes live ? Were they implemented later in the day? Do I have to do it again ? (is it safe?) Thank you and have a good day !

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but when I try to detect my Patreon status it tells me that "These details have been sent to Foundry" and that "this window should close and if not I should enter in this key" but when I do so it still shows that Patreon User: Not connected. Not sure if im not saving the key correctly or something.
