January 2/2 Update: Discord Server + Happy Chinese New Year!
🕑 Added 2025-01-31 05:49:09 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Happy Chinese New Year!
I made a Discord Server, currently it's only for supporters, however it will be open to the public in a couple of weeks, with exclusive channels for Patreons.
In there starting from April I plan on streaming every month for supporters! We'll vote on an optimal time later on. I will also be recording these sessions in case people miss them.
I'm also going to buy a new desk for the workspace

End of the Dylexitard Arc:
Well I'm very happy with how the comments for the latest episode have been very sympathetic to Jenny's dyslexia twist! A lot of commenters talked about their own experiences with impostor syndrome with their disorder, and the implications it would be for them when they realize that the disability they had their entire life was just a false diagnosis.
One year ago I went back to my childhood child behavior psychologist and she said something very similar to me when I inquired to her about my own dyslexia. This lead me to question my own identity and how I shaped my own life from my own diagnosis when I was a kid. I defined a lot of my crucial failures in life to the inability to read properly, as the ability to read affected my confidence in social interactions, I became introverted and miserable.
Expressing these feelings in art has been very cathartic for me and I do plan on tackling other important social issues I faced while growing up. In some sick twisted way, I'm thankful to have had dyslexia, I made me seriously invest in art as a means to communicate, making me the artist that I am now.
A lot of people have asked if Jenny actually has dyslexia or not, the truth is, I don't know, I don't know if she has dyslexia, I don't know if I have dyslexia myself. To don't want to know. Frankly, like Jenny, I'm scared to know the truth if my life has been a lie.
I also added a CSP link in the bottom of the post. You can check out how I work on the comic and how I format the whole thing!
With the new discord server, I can go in more detail in how I work on art and my process. So if you want to find additional information, please consider joining the discord where I go more in-depth in a less formal way, rather than wait bimonthly for the newsletter!
There's one more comic to finish off this arc and hopefully I will have that finished by next week as well! Here are some draft previews on the upcoming comic.
IWBTRWR drafts:
Wow Jenny chilling? If this an alternate reality? Wow is god merciful today?
IWBTWR Comic planning:
With how social media works nowadays, I think it would be really cool if I showcased characters/ concepts earlier like how I did with Daisy Wu's character. Daisy was never supposed to appeared this early in the comic, the plot with her character in it doesn't appear till a couple of story arcs later. However, showing glimpses of future plot points is a really cool idea I see other storytellers use so I'm going to incorporate them into the way I post my content onto social media and see how it goes.
see you in hell wheelchair girl
Animation updates
Next month! Currently planning and drafting. Will have some gifs to showcase.
General Updates
I will be traveling to Japan next month and talking to other Japanese creatives. I haven't been to Japan ever since I graduated from my internship there when I was 17. Back then I worked in an animation studio and I hated every second of it lol
Let's see how it goes! I'll update you guys about it in the next newsletter.
I hope I'll see you guys on the discord server!
To the guys who don't use discord, don't worry! nothing has changed and I will continue to post bimonthly updates on the Patreon!

The latest Dyslexitard chapter is one of your most well constructed. From the composition in the panel to the composition of the page to the pacing of the whole thing, it just feels like a well made comic. And I'm glad it was, because it felt so good to be so engaged when I got hit with the twist. It's a story beat born out of experience, which showed me an angle on life I'm not sure I would've been aware of had you not shared it. Thanks for that. Things seem to be coming along great! Hope you enjoy the new desk!
