FEBUARY UPDATE 1/2 KOISHI PROJECT
🕑 Added 2024-02-12 09:56:16 +0000 UTCHey guys!! This is part one of the Febuary update! This post will be all about plans for the Koishi project and how it's progressing so far, the errors that I've encountered and animation requirements that I will need to tackle.
Third milestone is finished and assembled! It's all coming together now and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'm back on schedule and ahead! I am aiming for a July release at this point but it's still not certain yet. Pardon if it's a bit choppy right now, those are the segmented files for the scenes I'm working on.
A lot of issues I've been having all boiled down to inproper labeling of scenes and rushing through not naming animation files. This was fine when I worked on my own because I would have them all memorized. But because now that I have an extra animator and background artist on board, they easily get confused with the nonsense crap I used to name my things with. I've been fixing this and things are running a lot smoother than before.
Speaking about extra animator, the previous animator "Reggus" I mentioned a couple months back but feel off the radar is back! He's now in charge of animating Koishi's eye in harder scenes. Check out his work below!
My background animator is also cooking with multiple backgrounds he made recently!! Mostly focused on the radio right now but then we'll transition into the darker scenes.
Most of S3 is finished at this point and what I'm missing is a complicated dance scene and a hard camera close up shot of Koishi. Currently dipping my toes into S4 towards the climax! Super excited to finish up this segment of the animation and thank fuck it's going smoother than expected.
Thank you for your support again :) Hope you like this month's big animation update!
All files will be released at the end of this month in the next post! If you wanna collect them or something, or check out my animation process.
See you alll in the next update this month! Focused on "I Was Born To Work Retail"!!
