In this one, a pair of siblings try to avoid dealing with their feelings about their absent father by trying to fix their mom's feelings about her estranged parents. They do this by going to the middle of nowhere to meet them for the first time while making a documentary about it. Unfortunately, they're in a horror movie, so it goes way bad!

I liked this one a lot. Obviously I didn't like the ableism, I thought that was extremely trite, but aside from that I felt like it was actually just a very competently done movie, maybe the best film he's made since The Sixth Sense. It's VERY watchable, which can't be said for a lot of his films, and we see the return of Shyamalan getting good performances out of kids, after three movies in a row where the kids don't really do a great job or aren't given much to do.
