Think the story spans about 3 years: Tiantian was saved by them in episode 1 when he was still a baby, and now he is 3/4 years old. They probably knew each other for 6 months, been lovers for 1 year, struggled for another 6+ months, then FX went to jail for 6 months. This is a really well executed piece - shout out to the director, actors, and the entire production team!
