EARLY ACCESS ~ SOUTH PARK S27E1
🕑 Added 2025-08-03 20:39:48 +0000 UTCSouth Park – “Sermon on the ’Mount” (Season 27, Episode 1) is a full-throttle, gleefully unhinged return to form that had us howling from the cold open to the final, unholy deepfake. It’s like Trey and Matt came back from a long nap, stretched real hard, cracked their necks, and said, “Alright, who’s getting roasted first?” Spoiler: it’s everyone.
This thing fires shots in every direction—Trump, CBS, Paramount, Jesus, Satan, deepfakes, woke overcorrections, corporate hypocrisy, and good ol’ fashioned mob mentality. All of it, thrown into a blender and served ice-cold with a side of “yes, we really aired this.” And we ate it up.
Cartman losing his mind over NPR being canceled by executive order is peak Cartman, like if Alex Jones had a tantrum on the playground. PC Principal transforming into Power Christian Principal was somehow both hilarious and exactly where we expected that arc to end up. And then you’ve got Jesus, forced to deliver a legal disclaimer sermon like he's working PR for the apocalypse? Amazing.
And let’s not skip over the real chaos: Trump literally in bed with Satan, in what has to be the boldest “we dare you to cancel us” moment the show’s had in years. Add a parade of lawsuits, some wonderfully disturbing political ads, and the most absurdly viral closing shot of a CGI Trump walking nude through the desert (with a teeny-tiny bit of, uh, “symbolism”), and you’ve got an opener that doesn't just come out swinging—it absolutely body-slams subtlety off a cliff.
This is South Park unfiltered, unafraid, and utterly unhinged, exactly the way we like it. We were cackling and already quoting it before the credits hit. One of the best premieres the show’s ever done. More of this unholy madness, please.
