FULL WATCHALONG ~ BAD WORDS

Jason Bateman stars as Guy Trilby, a fast-talking misanthrope with a score to settle. He’s not just there to win a cash prize; he’s entered the competition to get back at his no-account father, the smug figure who runs the whole shebang and embodies everything Guy despises.
Adding to the film’s offbeat charm is the standout performance of a surprisingly fantastic child actor, Rohan Chand steals scenes with a natural wit and a level of comedic timing that completely contrasts with the cynical, jaded world of the adults. His presence is a breath of fresh, mischievous air amid all the biting sarcasm and crass one-liners.
From start to finish, Bad Words is a snark-fueled joyride that hurls insults, clever wordplay, and dysfunctional family drama at you in rapid-fire succession. It’s a film that knows exactly what it’s doing—turning the humble spelling bee into an arena for revenge, redemption, and unexpected heart. Whether you’re here for the clever quips or the underdog triumph, this movie proves that sometimes the best way to settle a score is with a well-placed “i” before an “e.”

The only thing I could remember from this movie is that Bateman gets busy in a cleaning closet. Let's see how this goes.
